The Setam Carabin company designed a set of 5 families of high precision gear reducer boxes from 26 to 290 mm in diameter with the following characteristics:

• High impulsion overload allowing the acceleration of torques up to 415 Nm

• Low inertia of input gears

• Stiffness avoiding oscillations within the regulation loops

• Strict reduction ratios, integer numbers from 1 to 200

• Less than 3 arc minutes axial backlash

• Co-axial input and output
